Hesperus Lodge # 837
12 S. Lake Ave
Bergen, NY 14416

The Brothers of Hesperus Lodge meet on the first and third Thursday of each month, between September and June.

"We are proud to be Masons, and we are proud of each other."

The one hundred plus Brothers of Hesperus Lodge #837 F. & A. M. are a unique group of individuals. They have all sorts of backgrounds, vocations, religions, educations, experiences, and responsibilities to share with each other for the betterment of the Lodge. The Brothers bond together as one, through several tenets of their commitment to Free Masonry.

One of the strongest tenets as Brothers of Hesperus is the support of one another in all phases of their lives. If there is sickness, an emergency, or sadly, a death, the Brothers are there for support. If a Brother is celebrating a milestone in life, the Hesperus Masonic family is there.

In Masonry one is expected to extend oneself to others if the need exists. Hesperus is a leader of this tenet, for fellow Brothers, Sisters and community members. This is why Masonry is alive and well in Bergen.

How does Hesperus Lodge continue with it's success?
An organization can only succeed when the members work together as a unit, and agree on what is best for it's success. At Hesperus Lodge, each Brother is a compliment to one another. The Lodge maintains standards, and uses their God given abilities to serve others.

Where would you fit into the Lodge?
In order to keep the continuance of this obligation, Hesperus needs to ensure that new candidates are encouraged to join, and assist with programs. Every man who chooses to become a Mason, will be interviewed so that his specialties are discovered. His specialites will then be used for the improvement of the organization. With all of the special abilities of the different Brothers, the Lodge is able to call on someone with unique expertise to lead or assist.
